Maddi O’Kane is a ceramicist based in Melbourne, Australia. She is fascinated by movement, stemming from her time as a dancer and a childhood spent by the beach. She aims to create sculptures which capture the beauty of her relationship with movement and nature around her. Maddi is currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Art at RMIT. She also occasionally offers one-off handbuilding workshops in Melbourne.
Maddi acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation as the traditional custodians of the land she lives and works on. She pays her respects to elders past, present and emerging.
